Lead With Yes Bob Bedore presenting Lead with Yes
Too often people use the word “no”. Not only to get them out of any responsibility, but also as a means to stifle a different opinion so that their own idea can be moved forward. No matter how it’s used, “no” is an ending statement and it brings the idea of collaboration, creativity, and progress to an immediate halt. That’s where “Lead With Yes” comes in. When you can think “yes” first you open up a world of possibilities that can make things happen. “Yes” is a word that begins everything. The “Lead With Yes” Program is based on the theatrical art form Improvisation. The training comes from over 40 years of improv experience and teaches from the principle of “Yes, and”. When a group is thinking as a team and working to lift everyone up, amazing things can happen. And it all starts with one simple goal… Lead With Yes.
Available as a keynote address, and as a half or full day training.

Fun at Work There was a time when we were kids in school, spending our day looking forward to recess. It was a time where we could throw of the rules of the classroom, run with wild abandon, laugh and talk with our friends, and basically have fun. It was a time that taught us the joy of taking a break and allowed us to socialize with others. Now that we are adults and have to work, there is no more recess. But why is that? Any teacher will tell you that recess is essential for productive, efficient work to happen in the classroom. How have we forgotten the good things that having fun did for us in our youth? It seems that we are living the words of George Bernard Shaw, “We don’t stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing.” “Fun At Work” teaches the importance of fun on the workforce and gives many examples of the type of “play time” that can be done at work. No matter the job that is done, there is always a time and place for workers to take that break, let their hair down, communicate with each other in a non-work setting, and… Have Fun At Work.

Five Work Languages People hugging while participating in Five Work Languages training.

It should come as no surprise to any of us that we are all motivated in different ways. Any parent with more than one child knows that they have to do things a little differently with each offspring to get the most from them. Every relationship we are in needs to be handled with slight adjustments in order to work. The same is true at work. A manager who only motivates with one style has no chance of reaching all of their employees. This is where the “Five Work Languages” comes in. Yes, that title may sound familiar, but love can be a lot of work, and work can be something you love. In our program we not only teach you the five languages, but also give you the pros and cons of each for both sides of the language. Managers will learn how to recognize and different languages within their employees and use them to motivate the entire team, and workers will see that their managers (as well as their fellow employees) also need to be spoken to in different ways. Great things can happen when you’re speaking the language that people want/need to hear.
Available as a keynote address, and as a half or full day training.
